Electronic Portable Air Conditioner

Are there any portable air conditioners that work well?

I recently moved into an apartment with all casement windows that crank open. I need an ac and was considering a portable one but have heard so many negative things about them. Does anyone have any personal experience and can anyone recommend good portable ac that worked for them? THANKYOU!!

2. Go on the internet and put in personal AC, I had one that I brought years ago and it also had the dehumidifier with it. It was ok but it doesn't really cool a large area, I put mine in the bedroom and close the door and it was just ok, I guess better than nothing, after awhile the condenser went out on it.
