Electronic Portable Air Conditioner

Air conditioning problem?

My Amana portable air conditioner, turns on but it wont work, it flashes stop and makes several beeps, any idea how I can fix this?

1. Don't know about portables??? Does it have a filter?--if so check it. does it have a reset button?--reset it. does it have a moisture reservoir? --empty it.
2. Read the owners manual.The beeps are trying to tell you something.
